This un-neutered, handsome and loveable boy was found outside my home on 02/25/. He weighs approximately 50 pounds and appears to be about a year old. I live in the country so he could be from the China Spring or Valley Mills area. He was not wearing a collar and I do not think he is micro-chipped. I have seen no signs of fleas or ticks on him and appears to have been well cared for. He is very comfortable around other dogs and people and has no signs of food aggression even though he is thin and obviously very hungry, or any other kind of aggression for that matter. He understands basic commands such as 'sit' and 'stay'. I think he would be good with children (which I will find out this weekend when my grandkids come out) but does have a tendency to jump on you when he is excited. Although he is learning what the command 'down' means very quickly. He is playful and tries very hard to please.
No one has claimed him and he is in desperate need of a forever home. I already have 4 dogs and a cat. Therefore, I cannot keep him. I was trying to care for him till the owners had a chance to get him back but I guess he was a dump since I have not had any claims for him. Would a loving, caring person please be willing to take him and give him a wonderful home.
